There are two primary ways to register for Union Bank of India net banking options, and they are:

  1. Online method: Here is the step-by-step process to register for Union Bank of India Internet Banking:
  • Step 1: The user must first visit the official portal of Union Bank of India and click on the ‘Retail Login’ button. For corporate users, select the ‘Corporate Login’ option.
  • Step 2: Select the ‘New User’ option on the next page.
  • Step 3: The user will be redirected to enter his registered phone number, account number, customer ID and email ID. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered phone number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Proceed’.
  • Step 5: After this, the user will be redirected to create a new password.
  • Step 6: Enter the new password and confirm it. A pop-up will be displayed showing ‘Registered Successfully’.
  1. Offline method: Here are the steps to complete the registration process offline:
  • Step 1: Visit the nearest Union Bank of India branch.
  • Step 2: Fill out the application form and attach ID and address proof.
  • Step 3: Once the user submits the form, the bank will process their internet banking request.
  • Step 4: The user will receive a User ID and Password after successful verification.
  • Step 5: Union Bank Net Banking services will be activated within 24 hours.

Union Bank of India Net Banking Login Process

Both retail users and UBI corporate net banking users can refer to the following steps to log in to Union Bank of India Net Banking:

  • Step 1: Visit the official net banking portal of Union Bank
  • Step 2: Click on the Login button in the top right corner. You can select either Retail or Corporate Login.
  • Step 3: See the safety guidelines on the next page. Now, click on ‘Continue Login’ to proceed further.
  • Step 4: Enter your Customer ID and Password on the next page. Retail customers must enter their Union Bank Retail Net Banking and password created during registration. Meanwhile, UBI corporate net banking users must enter their corporate ID and password details for login purposes.
  • Step 5: After entering the details, click on ‘Login’.

How to reset the password for Union Bank Net Banking?

Follow the procedure given below to reset your Union Bank Net Banking password:

  • Visit the official website of Union Bank Net Banking and click on the ‘Retail User Login’ option.
  • Under the ‘Services’ section, select the ‘Forgot/Reset Password’ option.
  • On the next page, you have to select the Reset password, with or without the help of a debit card and press the Continue button.
  • The next step is to mention your user ID, account number, any of your last five transactions, transaction type and reply. 
  • After completing the above steps, you will receive an OTP and then click the ‘Continue’ button.
  • On the next page, you can modify the login password. 
  • Now, you can log in to your UBI Net Banking account with the help of a new password and user ID.

How to transfer funds using UBI net banking?

Here are the process of transfer funds using UBI net banking:
Step 1: You have to visit the Union Bank of India’s official website.
Step 2: If you are a retail user, press the ‘Retail Login’ option, and for a business account, select the ‘Corporate Login’ option.
Step 3: Next, type the user ID and password and press the ‘Login’ option.
Step 4: On the next page, press the ‘Transfer’ option.
Step 5: Next, you should choose the payment type you prefer. Select either IMPS or NEFT/RTGS option.
Step 6: Under the ‘Choose your option’ tab, click ‘Fund transfer using account number and IFSC option’.
Step 7: Press ‘Transfer’ and select the appropriate option. You have to choose the account from which the funds will be transferred and the beneficiary account.
Step 8: Enter your email ID, mobile number, amount you want paid, and comments. After entering the details, press the ‘Pay’ button.
Step 9: Next, mention your user ID and transaction password and press the ‘Pay’ button.

Transaction Limits under UBI Net Banking

To use the NEFT service, Union Bank of India customers must mention details such as the Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) of the UBI branch to which the funds are to be transferred and the name and account number of the beneficiary. You can transfer funds via NEFT between 8 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays. And from 8 am to 6:30 pm, transferring funds using NEFT is not available on Sundays. But you can use IMPS on Sunday. If you wish to transfer bulk funds, you must process them before 6 pm.

Once users register for UBI net banking, they can avail of multiple services, including credit card bill payments. After self-user creation, users must log in with their user ID and password to link their credit card through ATM PIN. Once logged in, the user can pay by clicking on the ‘Credit Card Payment’ option under ‘Net Banking’. The process to open a savings account in Union Bank of India mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Install ‘Union Selfie & m-Passbook’ on your Android Smartphone.
  • Step 2: Click a selfie.
  • Step 3: Scan your PAN card and Aadhar card.
  • Step 4: An account number will be created instantly.
  • Step 5: Visit the bank branch with your original documents to activate your account number.
  • Step 6: Alternatively, you can complete the online form on the Union Bank Savings Account page.
  • Step 7: Once received, visit the branch for additional verification.
